Not sure about the rest of you, but the craving to see the world went up by 100 notches over the last couple months. My hubby and I took a year off in our twenties to the see the world and while it was the best thing we ever did before having kids, it only wets the appetite for all that's out there. This new design is called THE GETAWAY and speaks to exotic places and corners of the earth that are waiting to be seen. For now, having a wallpaper version feels like enough. When my first daughter was around 2, she hit the everything-must-be-pink age and my heart sank because I was going through my anti-stereotype phase. She didn't only like pink, she immersed herself in it. Luckily my 2nd one preferred to dress as a black cat for many years. @joh_del is one of the 3 artists we are representing as part of our newly launched CS&Co range. Joh Del (Johan de Lange) Is an artist, commercial illustrator and graphic designer based in Cape Town.
Joh’s work is characterised by its intricate detail that draws the viewer in to discover a world full of little surprises hidden in unexpected places. Always using his signature palate of flat natural colours.
His work celebrates the natural wonders around us. Especially the indigenous flora of South Africa and underwater life.
